Chapman/Leonard is pleased to announce a transformative milestone in its continued growth and innovation: the acquisition of Pro-Cam Rentals USA, now operating as Pro-Cam Systems, LLC – A Chapman/Leonard Company.

This strategic merger brings together more than 100 years of combined industry expertise, significantly expanding Chapman/Leonard’s portfolio with a robust inventory of remote camera systems and telescopic crane assets. The integration of these resources, alongside the unification of legacy brands, experienced teams, and proven technologies, reinforces Chapman/Leonard’s commitment to delivering the most comprehensive and globally scalable camera and grip support solutions to the production industry.

This integration is more than a merger; it’s a force multiplier. By connecting the two companies’ applications development, engineering, and manufacturing teams directly to end users, Chapman/Leonard is accelerating innovation and refining design through real-world feedback at every stage. The addition of rapid prototyping capabilities, alongside the global expansion of manufacturing, and in-process quality control reporting, integrated with a newly developed MRP/ERP infrastructure, ensures unmatched precision, scalability, and trackability. These advancements reinforce what matters most: exceptional customer service and an outstanding experience across every level of product delivery and customer assurance.

In addition, Chapman/Leonard is proud to announce the expansion of our Los Angeles facility campus with the addition of a 22,000-square-foot site located on Fulton Avenue in Valley Glen, formerly the home of a respected industry peer. This new facility represents a significant milestone in the continued growth of Chapman/Leonard’s North Hollywood-based operations, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, accessibility, and professional development. The scheduled opening is set for October 2025.

The new site will serve as a dedicated training and rental support hub for the Pro-Cam Systems Specialty Equipment division, specializing in advanced specialty gear and remote camera systems. Purpose-built to foster collaboration and streamline access to the most in-demand technologies, this facility will support both industry professionals and union affiliates, offering hands-on experience and enhanced service capabilities.

Meanwhile, Chapman/Leonard’s studio campus in Orlando, Florida is nearing completion of its full renovation. Designed as a secure, efficient, and adaptable turnkey content creation environment, the facility supports productions, educational initiatives, real-world scenario testing, grip gear and production storage, and scalable support services. Integrated teams in Orlando are already making significant advancements, embodying the Company’s commitment to innovation while honoring the legacy principles that define Chapman/Leonard.
